Eucalyptus gunnii "French Bleu" is an evergreen eucalyptus tree. The gray / green leaves of the gum tree give off a delicious eucalyptus smell. Especially when the leaf is bruised, a strong eucalyptus smell is released (mosquitoes hate this smell).
The leaves of this tree differ from that of the regular gunnii in that they're a lot smaller. Therefore this species is more suitable to be used as a bush.

Eucalyptus is used for various purposes, oil is extracted which is still used by traditional aborigines against various ailments.
Eucalyptus is also used for toothpaste, cough candy, throat softeners, nasal spray, king, etc.
The leaves can be picked in the summer, dried and stored in an air-tight pot or similar
These trees are also used to dry wet areas.
With their long roots, they suck the water away like a sponge. Despite this, Eucalyptus can also withstand drought fairly well. This species is moderately hardy and can easily withstand a mild winter.
