Prunus avium "Napoleon" is a tree that produces orange yellow cherries. Normally the cherries would be red, this is a nice touch to this hardy tree that produces fruit in the climate of northern Europe.
In early spring the tree produces it's blossom and in the months following this it will produce fruit. The cherries are edible and can be eaten out of hand or used as for example cake toppings.
The leaves of this tree are lancet shaped and become 10cm in length and 5 cm in width. In winter this tree drops it's leaves.
Pruning of the tree is possible, usually this happens after giving fruit. This is mostly used to keep the shape of the tree.
Winter hardness zone 6a (-24ºC).
