Alyogyne Delightfully is an easy beech plant is a true flowering champion and will provide you with a rich bloom from late April until late autumn.
This potted plant does not have many demands in place and a rainstorm or place in the full sun will not limit it's blooming. The Alyogyne looks like a Hibiscus and gets it's name from this. The Alyogyne however will bloom from april untill the end of summer and will produce flowers during this time non-stop.
The Alyogyne originates from Australia. It is rare that this species does not come from the green East of Australia but the rough West. This indicates what kind of plant the Alyogyne is. A strong plant that can endure wind, drought, full sun and little nourishment. When you do decide to spoil the Alyogyne and give it plenty of water and fertilizer the plant will show itself from it's best side and flower for months.
Regularly pouring but certainly not too wet is fine, every 3 weeks a little bit of nutrition.
The leaf is dark green, quite thick and feels a bit creepy.
If pruning is desired, do the best after the bloom somewhere in October.
The Alyogyne Delightfully is not too wet when this cool is overwhelming, moisture against the dry is better than wet.
If you want to use potting soil, then you may be well-tolerated and may be sandy.
Overwintering at a temperature of + 5ºC or higher, the cultivar stays winter green. This cultivar grows shrub-shaped and can grow to 100/150 cm high. But can be kept at any height by pruning. It's best to trim the plant after bloom in late autumn.
Winter hardness zone 10a (-1ºC).
