Jacaranda mimosifolia is perhaps the most beautiful tree on earth. It blooms from August / September to February in its natural environment. In our climate, flowering starts in August through September.
The flowers are deep blue / purple in color and bell-shaped.
His leaves have something like a fern. The tree can grow to more than 10 meters in the ground.

The growth form is also impressive, the width of the leaves crown is certainly big as the height of the tree.
Pruning is not necessary when the Jacaranda mimosifolia is kept in a tub.
If it becomes too large, drastic cutting can not hurt.
Simply cut the trunk you want and the plant will develop a new crown in the spring.
Unfortunately, it is difficult in our climate to plant the Jacaranda in the ground, it can tolerate little frost.

The Jacaranda mimosifolia can be kept very well as a tub plant.
On the terrace or in a sunny place in your garden, he comes fully into his own.
In the winter, the Jacaranda drops its leaves, which come back in the spring.
Another advantage is that you do not have to tow the cockpit for one night frost in October and can stay outside until December. In the winter in a cool place between +2 and +10ºC is better, plant goes then nicely into hibernation.
