Pittosporum tobira is an evergreen shrub and is a native plant in China and Japan. Get 8 cm deep deep green leaves.
Grows in a beautifully shaped shrub of up to 250 cm high.
May be pruned in late autumn. Pittosporum blooms from May to July and is then full of creme-colored flowers that turn to white.

These flowers smell delicious and give off an intense sweet scent! Red seeds appear after flowering. This Pittosporum is fairly hardy and also suitable for keeping as a tub plant.
He can overwinter in a sheltered place and does not necessarily have to go inside.
Plant does not have to have excessive amounts of water in the summer (soil slightly damp) and a small amount of manure once a month is sufficient. The Pittosporum can also be planted in the ground with some protection from moderate frost.
