Ligustrum japonicum Texanum gets a lush bloom in the spring, the leaf is pointed.
This evergreen shrub is family of the Oleaceae and is a slow grower, ideal for smaller gardens. The plant can be kept in the open ground or in a tub.
The shrub does not exceed 3 meters (after 10 years) and the average 150/200 cm.
Is also used for a hedge for example to create some privacy in a corner of your garden.
The shiny fresh green leaf is a beautiful appearance.

The plant remains evergreen. It is fine in a dry to normal place in the ground.
The shrub attracts many butterflies when it is in bloom.
The beautiful full bloom starts in May and lasts until June and the color is cream / white.
They are pyramidal flower clusters of about 8 cm long. This is followed by black berries later in the year that stick to the bush until well into the winter.
If you want to prune the plant, this is not a problem, this is best done immediately after flowering.
