Lonicera caerulea "Blue Pacific" or honeyberry gets delicious dark blue elongated berries in the month of June.
These fruits are 3-4 cm tall and look a bit strange but are true vitamin bombs, full of vitamin B and C and pectin, but also many anti-oxidants.
They taste fresh and aromatic something sweet / sour.
The fruits are also very good to process in chutneys and jam but also for the juice.

The honeyberries can be in a sunny place until light shade. At the beginning of April, the plants bloom with small white flowers and after the bloom, the fruit begins immediately.
The Lonicera caerulea "Blue Pacific" is self-pollinating, but if you have a lot of planting, this benefits the fruit production. A mature shrub delivers comfortably 2 kg of fruit. Combines very well with the "Blue Forest" variety.

The honeyberry bush becomes 100/125 cm tall and grows shrub-shaped.
In autumn the leaves are adorable with bright red and orange colours, in winter, the plant is bare. Pruning you if necessary in December, cut only the old perennial wood to the ground.
