Trachelospermum jasminoides Variegata or Tuscan jasmine is also called steroids and Italian jasmine.

The leaf discolored in autumn with red / pink tones.

Fortunately, the Trachelospermum jasminoides grows fairly slowly, so pruning is not necessary soon.

The strong fresh sweet scented flowers are white in color. Flowering period is early June to late September.
The flowers are tubular broadly extending at the end.
If a little warm summer is present, after flowering fruit appears in the shape of 20 cm long pods (not edible).
This species can be planted in full soil and in a sheltered warm place, the Tuscan jasmine feels completely at home.
But this climbing plant is also kept in a tub on a balcony.
